Hello there! And welcome to Simply Simone. Get to know how everything began and how we got here. Arriving in Malaysia from Ghana in 2013, I had a lot of hope about being able to access a good range of products both for my hair and skin. I was almost two years into my natural hair journey so I was excited to now have access to all the products I was eyeing on YouTube, which I thought I could finally get my hands on for my natural hair. Not only did I not find some of these products I eyed, my hopes were dashed when I quickly realised that most products here didn’t cater to me. For both my hair and skin. Trusted brands that I knew back in Ghana that I found here, made my skin so dry. My natural hair was falling out and my skin looked so dull. It became a concern when every baby products I used on my babies also made their skin dry and their hair brittle and fall out, my daughter had virtually no hair at all. I started to rely on shipping natural products from Ghana, which restored my hair and skin back to its lusciousness. I started doing a lot of research from then on, and making natural products at home. I was wowed the first time I made soap, in 2016. I started sharing with friends who started to give me great feedback about the improvement in their skin. Some friend’s had relieve with their eczema and other skin irritations. They encouraged me to sell my products and it is through this, that Simply Simone was birthed.
